[ Our Philosophy ]
FLOW —
Every class by sunroom is an experience, you’ll be immersed in the music, the flow, and most of all your body. We believe true warmth is felt not only by the sun, but through connection — to ourselves, each other, and the world around us. So let’s move, connect —and create space in ourselves to let the light in.
GATHER —
Warmth is something we build together. Warmth is a sensation that goes deeper than the way it makes our skin feel. True warmth happens when you have a real laugh, share a genuine connection, or when you feel completely seen — things that last way after the sun has gone down.
BREATHE —
Breath and light are both things we recieve. Just as sunlight fills the room, the breathe fills the body. If a room doesnt receive light, it can start to feel closed, still —heavy. The same goes for the room that is our bodies, if we don’t pause to breathe we can begin to feel disconnected from ourselves. Breath brings us back, it creates movement where there is stillness, and light where things feel heavy.
BLOOM —
We all know what happens when a plant receives ample light and water, and we’d like to think the same goes for us humans. Growth is a slow process, and often a process that is jumpstarted by heavy rainfall. Sunroom is always a place to recieve light after a big (or small) life storm. Turning lemons into lemonade kinda thing, ya know?

FOUNDER AND RETREAT HOST
If you know me, you know my middle name is Sun (literally), I live for the warmer months, cooking for the people I love, and teaching yoga to a room full of people. I’ve always been a little quiet, introverted, and more of a listener. Teaching is what completely broke me out of my shell. It was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever done, but then somewhere along the way it started to feel like home. Mostly, its a space where I feel completely at ease.
Sunroom is a concept I’ve had in my back pocket ever since I started teaching a few years ago. I’ve always wanted people to feel the same way I do when I’m teaching, to experience being completely immersed in something, completely present, and completely themselves. Really, I wanted to create a room where we all recieve warmth, and leave feeling a little lighter. If you allow it, the practice of yoga will move through you, as it did me.
One day Sunroom will be a grounded studio, but for now its a traveling affair. Designed to introduce you to our philosphy, teaching style and vibe.
Im so beyond honored to host the first retreat of it’s kind in Charleston, South Carolina. A place that has grown to be very special to me, where i’ve established roots, and found myself more times than once. Local Charleston peeps (who have come to be dear friends of mine) will be taking apart in this retreat sharing their magic with all of you —and for that I am most greatful..

The Villa is located in Charleston, South Carolina. Specifically on the Isle of Palms, which feels like a deep exhale. Just steps from the beach, this luxury villa is a quiet escape. When were ready for a change, we’ll venture downtown and trade in sandy feet for cobblestone streets, good food, and a night together.
